Daisy Clarke is a British artist living and working in London. She obtained her MFA from the Royal College of Art in 2008.
Daisy has been drawing and painting from as early as she can remember and sees her work as depicting the paradox of traditional fairy tales that contain both idealistic and realistic life concepts summarised as 'the moment a fairy tale moves from dark to light, the sound of the wind through the pines, the sentience of animals, far beyond the edge of the clouds.'
Daisy was shortlisted by the curator of Contemporary Art, V&A at the London Festival Fringe (2010) and awarded First Prize by the Barbican Arts Trust in 2009. She has exhibited widely throughout her career including solo and group gallery shows, Affordable Art Fair UK and at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in London.
