Born in Milan in 1986, Annalisa Fulvi is a graduate of Brera’s Academy of Fine Arts. In 2014, Fulvi won the 2nd edition of Milan’s Griffin Award, in the category Emerging Artists, and in 2012 was among the finalists of the prestigious Lissone Award. She has held solo shows in important public spaces including Palazzo Lombardia in Milan and Palazzo Verbania in Luino. Fulvi’s early, award-winning work focused on the urban world and its constructions. Her latest research is more concerned with the landscape and man's relationship to nature. Combining a vivid sense of color with energetic, gestural brush strokes, these new paintings verge into bold abstraction.
