Agnese Taurina (AGNESSAGA) graduated from Central Saint Martin’s College of Art and Design in 2016 and was listed by 'Computer Arts' magazine among most outstanding graphic design and illustration graduates of the year in the University of Arts London. Exploring states of mind such as contemplation, pleasure, trance, and ecstasy. Her interests in Ancient Greek and Indian philosophy, design history and yoga often manifest in her works.
She is a Latvian illustrator, graphic designer, and printmaker. Printing being her favourite mode of expression and signature medium, the artist takes her audience to a sensual and magical world, creating mystical, feminine and fabulously bold work. In her latest series of art prints, Agnese invites to a primordial and blissful space where bodies merge with their lush surroundings and natural rhythms. The works include typography in Sanskrit, references to female goddesses and more.
Agnese currently works between Riga and London on editorial, book design, and various fashion projects.
