Cristina Salmastrelli

Fair Director
Appointed in 2012 as Director of Affordable Art Fair New York, Cristina brings an innovative and dynamic perspective to one of New York’s most anticipated events.  She has an extensive background working at some of the most highly regarded and iconic art fairs including the IFPDA Print Fair and the ABAA New York Antiquarian Book Fair.

Joining Ramsay Fairs in April 2011 as Fair Manager of PULSE New York before she took up her current position, Cristina is now excited to be furthering our mission to promote emerging artists and make contemporary art accessible to all. With a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and History from Colgate University, Cristina also holds a Masters in Museum Studies from New York University. She is an avid sports fan as well as being a self-proclaimed foodie.

Joining the Affordable Art Fair team in 2013 as a Fair Assistant, Elizabeth hasn’t looked back since. While she enjoys assisting with production and performing odd jobs at our fairs, Elizabeth has found her calling in finance and has managed to excel quickly. With a degree in Art History and a love for Early Italian Renaissance, she has a real passion for art and is enjoying discovering the world of contemporary art.

In her free time Elizabeth is usually spending her days with friends and family, and completing more home-improvement projects than she can count! A lover of travel, she currently has Asia set in her sights and can’t wait to start exploring that corner of the world like a true backpacker.

Joining the team in 2014 as an Intern, Caitlin explored various aspects within the Affordable Art Fair NYC – from producing social media content to managing fair assistants and on-site production – before finding her niche in building and maintaining relationships between the fair and innovative brands to make the visitor experience a dynamic one.

Graduating in 2013 with a B.A. from James Madison University, Caitlin majored in Communication Studies with a minor in Writing and Rhetoric. She loves large-scale installations, weekends in New Jersey, and her new home in the East Village!

Fair Manager - Exhibitor Relations
Joining us in early 2011, Nikki has an extensive background in gallery management and administration, and brings with her a keen understanding of the needs of the fair's exhibitors. Before joining our US team, Nikki worked as a Gallery Manager for the Alcaston Gallery, the Untitled Gallery in Melbourne, and for the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne as a Membership Coordinator.

Nikki has a B.A. in Art History/Archaeology from the University of Queensland, Australia and a Post Graduate Diploma of Arts Management from the University of Melbourne, Australia.

Joining Ramsay Fairs in December 2014, Laura combined her marketing and event planning experience with her passion for the arts. Before joining the Affordable Art Fair NYC team, she was working as the Marketing and Promotions Associate for Distinguished Concerts International New York, a classical concert production company.

Laura graduated in 2012 from Stonehill College with a dual degree in Mediated Communication and Theatre Arts. In her spare time she loves seeing and writing music as much as possible, running, and baking.
