Charity Private View
Wednesday 22 October, 5.30pm – 9.30pm
Drawing is not just a fundamental tool for artists and designers. It is vital for our emotional and intellectual development, and a life-line for people with limited means of communication. The Campaign for Drawing supports parents, teachers and the creative industries by promoting visual literacy year-round. Each October, The Big Draw opens doors and provides free, accessible activities for people of all ages to engage with collections in museums and galleries.
Drawing gave me back my life, so why don’t we still teach it in schools?
-Andrew Marr, Campaign for Drawing Patron

Art just wouldn’t be art without a pARTty! So why not pop along to our Late View (or indeed the Charity Private View) where you can indulge in a drink or two, thanks to the lovely folks at Laithwaite’s Wine, and enjoy a gander of the galleries free from the weekend rush.
